PRECARE
In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor colour deposit:
AFTERCARE
To get the optimum result, It is very important to follow these instructions after your microblading session:
The day of treatment, after the procedure, gently wipe the area with sterile water wipe to cleans excess lymph fluid. The most important of the first 2 days is to cleans. This preventing scabs formation from the lymphatic fluids. Keep cleans the fluid that coming from the brows every 10 minutes for the full day. For cleaning eyebrows, use a gentle cleansing soap (Cetaphil) or baby shampoo wash gently morning and night. Do not rub skin too hard and after finish quickly absorb eyebrows with cleans tissue let dry at least 20 minutes before apply aftercare balm.
To use the after care balm, use a very small in a rice grain size on cotton swab(do not use your fingers as they might have bacteria present), apply a very thin layer. This is just to add a small amount of moisture – brows should not appear greasy, glossy or shiny. We don’t want it to suffocate, or when scabs absorb too much moisture, it becomes soft and can slide off easily where the pigment haven’t fully settle yet- resulting no pigment stay. Wound needs oxygen to heal properly.
⚠ *Important: before apply aftercare balm make sure the brows are completely dry. Do not put the balm while skin is still damp. Avoid touching eyebrows with fingers. The eyebrow must remain dry while showering. During the shower keep your face away from the shower-head. Wash your face in the last step.
Things to avoided during the first 7 days of healing:
• Do not let eyebrows wet while showering and shampooing/ brows shouldn’t contact with water for too long
• No scratch, pick the scabs cause these will result in patchy brows or risking of scar • Avoid all creams close to the eyebrows region
• Avoid applying makeup ( foundation or eyebrow pencil in brows region )
• Avoid exercise
• Avoid face massage
• Avoid sauna
• Avoid direct sun exposure
• Avoid sleeping on the face
• Avoid drinking alcohol in excess,
as it may lead to slow healing of wounds
In the next 30 days avoid:
• Suntanning
• Sun-bed
• Light (laser) therapy
• Chemical peels
• Fluid acid
• Microdermabrasion
• Creams that contain regeneration factors
⚠ Note: you should always avoid laser treatment over the treated area during the healing period
(Fraxel laser, IPL) as they can destroy the pigment and cause the inflammation. Use of an antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to fasten pigment fading.
⚠ If you have any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin, please contact your artist
immediately, to discuss further instructions.
Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, redness at the
site, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odour.
